Girly Week

Sarah Kathryn and I had the most fun and girly time while the boys were in Ruston for Lego camp.  It's hard not being together with our crew, but sometimes it's nice.  We love that the boys can go stay with Nana and Granddad for a week!

Sarah Kathryn and I enjoyed dinner dates with Daddy, princess meeting, lunch dates, Festive Favor delivering, and rent house updating!  I loved our time so much!

SK and Cinderella!  She kept asking her "where's your castle? Where's your dad?"

We bought some glitter lip gloss and she used the ENTIRE tube on her ENTIRE face.  Still finding glitter in the dryer.

She helped deliver to Barksdale Air force base!

We went to look at a rental that Freedom Quest Investments just picked up.  

We went to our new place, Chicken Salad Chick, 3 times that week!

Shreveport All-Stars 2017

Bennett made the Shreveport Little League All-Stars team again this year!  What a great athlete!  Around 30 kids tried out and 11 made it.  We are still not sure where he got his athletic ability! :)

We were excited because 2 other kids from his school made the team so it was good to have some classmates there with us.  We love this group of people (parents/grandparents/siblings/players so much!

Coach Ryan and Amanda hosted a get pumped up for All-Stars party at their house before we had our district tournament.  Each family contributed to buckets that we made up for the boys.  Ryan grilled hamburgers and we all brought sides. What a great group of friends!

We played Bossier in the district tournament and beat them to earn the district championship! Off to the State Tournament!

The team trophy was so cool!  The Kyles paid for these trophies out of their own pockets so that we'd have them!

Annual Blueberry Pickin'

My favorite summer tradition!  We put on our boots and headed out to the blueberry farm for some good old-fashioned berry picking. This was the first year all 3 kids actually came home with full buckets of berries!

Summer Livin'

We had such a nice, mild, low-key, summer.  I liked being able to take my babies to church for Bible study, G=Rock Climbing, and swimming.  This summer I changed my whole outlook.  I didn't do any camps except for what the church offered because I think it's important to support the church.  Other than that we had NO PLANS!  Best Decision Ever!

This was all my dad's idea!  He wanted to take Beauty Queen for a pedicure!

Swim Lessons with Sarah Kathryn

The most beautiful girl had swim lessons with Amy this summer!  We are so fortunate to have such an awesome swim teacher.  Amy has been teaching the kids of Shreveport how to swim for half her life!  

The first week SK was really not into swimming.  She screamed a lot and didn't want to go.  By week 2 she was jumping in and even laughing!  Yippee!

Thank you, Amy, for helping our girl learn to swim!
