Houston Weekend

The day before we left for Houston, we got to celebrate our 10 year anniversary! We wanted to take a vacation, but we opted for family beach trip instead.

We went to eat at our favorite, Frank's and then heading to Asia Massage for a fabulous end of anniversary treat!  We LOVED it!  I told Neil that it felt like a lot of extra pressure and he told me they were actually massaging my back with their FEET!  Yowzas!  It was nice for sure! :)

Happy 10 years!
We left for Houston to celebrate Uncle Mike's 60th birthday the next morning!  What a fun family weekend!  Since they closed the Fort Guy French Armory in Jackson, AL, Uncle Mike brought the letters to Courtney.  Guy French was my grandfather and was the only living person to have an armory named after him while he was still alive!  So cool! And so sad it is closed.

Uncle Mike wanted to go to the Astros game for his 60th birthday!  What a blast!

The kids LOVE all things concessions related!

We gave Uncle Mike his sweet shirt and he bought his own hat!  A true fan!

Bennett was determined to catch a ball!

This was the kids area where you could swing at water!

Bennett and Uncle Mike

Bennett knew he would get a ball!

And he did!  A groundsman tossed it to him!  Neil said he doesn't realize how cool it is to get a baseball from a major league field!

The next morning we I got to meet up with my dear friends for a girly brunch!  Amanda was in town for her nephew's graduation and Yitin lives in Houston!

SK took this picture!

And this one!

So sweet!
We ran to the Houston Children's Museum after brunch.  With our Sci-Port membership, we got in free!  So cool!

After the museum we went to dinner at Mi Rancho for Uncle Mike's birthday dinner.

End of Season Baseball Party

Bennett's little baseball team and coaches are the bee's knees.  They are such a great group of people and we are so glad to be on a team with them!  Coach Kyle and his wife, Jen, hosted an end of season party at their home with a water slide!

All the dads hanging

Cute team!

Coach Kyle had fun certificates for each player.  He said some sweet stuff about each boy.

Bennett got "Best Attitude!"  So proud of him!

Bennett's 2nd Grade Honors Assembly

We were so proud of Bennett at the 2nd grade honors assembly.  He got straight A's all year and A's in conduct all year.  There were no attendance awards for us!  It makes me so happy that our grandparent's come share in the joyous occasions of our kids!

These 2 favorite girls!

Yay for our biggest boy! I guess we all wore blue for some reason?

Principal Graham and B!  Way to go, Bennett!

Bennett LOVED being invited to go with Kyzer and his mom for fun on the last day of school!

Sarah Kathryn's Last Day of MDO

We really loved our sweet little Mother's Day Out!  I never in a million years thought I'd be taking my child to MDO, but I guess it is possible.  SK loved Tracey and Kristie so much!

Class picture!  Too bad her bow wasn't in. :(

She got to attend Henry's end of year party the same day so it was sort of like her end of year party too!

So much fun at the new YMCA!

Mother's Day Weekend

Our Mother's Day weekend was a little bit different than the past. It was spent at the "Mother's Day Weekend" baseball tournament!  I wouldn't have had it any other way!  We had so much fun cheering on our big boy!  Our family came to the ballpark for a game before heading to a delicious lunch at Grub.

We love seeing Connor at the tournaments!

My Sweet Bennett made breakfast for me! a Rice Cake, poptarts, and apple juice!  He ate a few bites of the rice cake!

So proud of his ring!
