5th grade bonfire and Bennett's first deer!

 We hosted the 5th grade bonfire at the camp and the kids had so much fun!  Neil took the kids on a hayride on the dried up lake bed, we did s'mores, and the kids did a fun photo scavenger hunt.  

We were out at the camp getting the place cleaned up and ready to host 50 when Bennett went out and killed his first deer with Mr. Adam!  He was so proud!  Adam hung up the deer and skinned it right at his house.  Bennett's favorite tidbit was that the bullet when straight through the deer and ended up in the deer's testicles!  OH man!  Never a dull moment!

Back to School Breakfast

 I like to celebrate Back to School each year with a breakfast.  It has evolved over the years and I think we finally found the best way to do it!  Breakfast for dinner the night before school starts!  Everyone scarfs down the entire meal because we are big breakfast fans.  They each get their special Back to school prize-o and it is so much fun!

Bennett was called up the Majors!

Bennett was called up to the Majors for Little League All Stars.  We were out of town for his age group's all-stars so he couldn't try out.  The older team (The Majors) asked Bennett to play!  He did a great job!

Our friends were in Lafayette with the 9-10 all-stars and they watched our game while they were on a break.  Sweetest!

The fields in Bastrop, LA were so nice!  They had cameras on every field that streamed all of the games.

This crew didn't get the results they wanted for sure.  Bennett was honored to be called up!  And in my opinion...he should have played way more.

End of Year Awards!

 The boys did so great this year in 4th and 1st grades!  They worked hard and it showed!

Bennett received perfect attendance (not sure how because he missed a few days for the canoe trip), As in conduct all year and Straight A's all year!  Go B!

He worked so hard and we are so proud!
