Lately

Last week was a whirlwind!  It's been crazy around here!  

I told Henry to get dressed and he came back in backwards undies, a hat, and mittens.  no words.

Our Sunday school class prepared and served dinner at The Hub, a local ministry for homeless people.  They made chili.

I got to have lunch with the Scott/Boyd girls.  Merideth is letting me borrow a bunch of party decor for SK's 1st birthday so we met up.

This sweet thing has RSV.  So sad to hear her wheeze.  Breathing treatment, steroid, and an inhaler will surely do the trick.

St. Patrick's Day

Since the kids had school and I had to work we celebrated St. Patrick's Day with a fun breakfast.  Henry had a snack, but they didn't let parents come.  Have I mentioned how much I don't like not being invited?  I don't like it.  Anyway, moving on.

Church Pig Roast and Egg hunt

Neil is on the Methodist Men's committee and is in charge of the pig roast.  This is an all night affair for him and a couple other guys.  He loves it and we do, too!

They added the Easter egg hunt to the pig roast this year. Normally we don't have a very big turn out at the pig roast, but since we had the egg hunt attached...it was a HUGE turnout!  They had face painting, jumpies, tons of eggs, and pinatas.  Tons of fun!

Go, Henry!  I was with Henry and Neil was with Bennett.  I missed all of Bennett's hits.  Apparently he was hitting it REALLY hard!

Dinner Date

SK is finally getting to the age where I am ready to leave her and the boys at home.  Mama hasn't had 1 night away since her birth!  Mama is tired!

We used to get a weekly date night and now it's just so hard.  It's hard to find someone who will keep all 3 besides my mom.  When she works, there's really no one else.  But, she offered on Friday night and we were beyond thrilled!  I was waiting in the car!

We had a nice dinner at The Cub and then headed to Sam's to purchase all the stuff for the church pig roast.  What a fun date night!

Botox Believer!

I never thought I'd be one of those people who got injected with botulism...but I am a Botox believer! Sarah has been offering her Botox services and I decided to take her up on it.  I am LOVING my new non-wrinkled forehead.

I really didn't think I needed it, but looking at my "before" pictures I was APPALLED and DISGUSTED!

Happy birthday to the guy who didn't want anything for his birthday.  I had to sneak this cake in so he wouldn't see.  

Neil wanted nothing for this birthday.  Family kept saying "what are we doing for Neil's birthday?"  "We want to come over for Neil's birthday!"  I think this was all his plan. ha!

We ended up going to Trace for brunch with family and his gift was that we didn't take a group picture.  Happy 34th, Neil.  You are the best husband and father a girl could ask for!
