You may know or you may not, but Neil and Jared have a pretty sweet trailer business.  People laugh and people make fun and we LOVE that!  Anyway, our little business took us on a fancy trip to Austin for Mobile Home University! Talk about some great info and some really hilarious CD listening.  We even took a detour to drive through a couple parks.

We were thankful that all the grandparents came together and kept the kids.  Jared and Katie's girls were well taken care of and our babies had Nana, Granddad, and Gammy.  They had some fun grandparent weekends for sure,

A few of my favorite highlights in no particular order were:

• Jared coming up with our e-book and every time we had a funny one-liner we'd say "Chapter 10: I don't want to be rich, I want to be wealthy" or "Chapter 3: Cash is the language everyone speaks" 
• Getting our hair done making it to where we didn't have to wash and dry our own hair
• Uber taking us all over Austin and talking to all the drivers and asking them all the same questions such as: "how long have you been driving for Uber?" Average time=1 month
• binge watching PBS
• shopping!
• food trucks! (Gourdough's was on fleek!)
• saying "on fleek" and still not knowing why
• hot tubbing
• Air BNB conversations with the owner
• trying to figure out the living situation of the Air BNB owners
• hearing about all the Trailer Talk at the conference and the one guy who asked 50 questions per day and seeing the tally of said questions
• lunch on 6th street
• walking to our neighborhood retail shops
• going to the original Whole Foods twice in 3 days
• looking up in a Thesaurus words for mogul, tycoon...to come up with Mobile Home Moguls or Trailer Park Tycoons.
• Blogging Marathon
• Basically doing what we wanted to do, when we wanted to do it.  It was AMAZING!

It got really cold!!!  I had to wear Neil's big wind breaker.  It was hot the day before.  Here we are on 6th street,

Neil and then there's Jared from Iowa.  That's what his tag said. He is really from Louisiana.

Scheduled Saturday

I like when we have days when we have no plans, but I also love having a schedule.  I guess each of those days just comes when we need it most.  This Saturday was a scheduled Saturday.  I had 2 baby showers and we had a fun dinner.  I love showers!

We were excited about celebrating Lynsie and Baby Millie.  Yay for another Sigma Kappa legacy!

Our next shower was for Margaret, Neil's cousin on down the line twice removed and all of that.  She looks fabulous and we can't wait to meet her baby girl.

And lastly, we had our 2nd Quarter Financials dinner meeting for Preakness Properties.  After 3 years, it's our first celebratory dinner.  We went to Bella Fresca and then had drinks after at the Steakhouse.  What fun!

Week 2 of Summer

Our summer has been very, very, very low-key.  I try to get fun things planned for the boys, but I am afraid I am just tapped out with Baby Girl to do as much as we normally do.  I feel guilty when we stay home and do nothing, but my mom had to remind me that the boys do NOT have to be entertained constantly.  I agree!  Reigning it in now.

We have had meals brought to us for the last 7 weeks and it has been the biggest blessing.  I cannot explain how nice it is to not have to worry about making a meal.  About 20 different families chipped in every other night for the last 7 weeks.  Amazing.

The Howard's brought Papa Murphy's and got little pizzas for the boys...they love making their own food.  Henry stacked all his pepperonis in 1 stack and used all of his cheese ad Bennett's leftover cheese.  Bennett put one tiny pile of cheese in the center and his pepperonis all around the cheese.  Such a difference!

Preakness picked up this beauty along with 3 others.

We've been spending a lot of time at the library.  The boys love the computers.  Bennett got his library card and always wants to "buy" stuff with it.

We went back to church after 6 weeks!  Sister wore bloomers for the first time and I loved showing them off!

We sent the boys to Ruston for the weekend to stay with Nana and Granddad so we could pack.  Our packing was cut short when Henry's arm was pulled out of socket.  I happened to call Nana to check on the boys and I heard Henry screaming.  She said that they were playing rough and Bennett jerked his arm hard and pulled it out.  Bennett felt horrible and was crying and kept trying to tend to Henry.  I am so glad he felt bad because I would have been worried if he didn't care about his brother. When she said Henry was holding his wrist I knew that it was out.  They loaded up and headed to Minden and we did the same. We got to Henry and he kept saying "my arm hurts." Poor, pitiful thing.  It was so sad.  I got him an Icee and he wouldn't touch it...he must have been in pain! I called every medical person I knew to see if they could get it back in for us because all of the "quick care" places were closed.  They all said they couldn't do it and to go to the ER.  Neil said he thought he could get it back in place because he had seen it done two other times! No!  Neil took Henry to the ER because he said I freak out too much and cry more than Henry.  I know he is right, but I still wanted to be there.  I got SK and B to bed while H was at the ER.  Neil brought him home and he acted like nothing had even happened!
