Dallas Market with Lemons and Limes

Becky and I traveled to Dallas for a market day.  We are loving buying things for Lemons and Limes Boutique!  We took Amy and her boyfriend's cousin, Mary Ellen with us for some extra opinions.  Thanks for going with us, girls!

We left after I got out of school and were so tired that we just stayed in the hotel and ate there.  I was sad to not meet up with Leslie and Leone, but Mama needed some sleep!

We had the best idea ever to wake up early and get our hair blown out at the Dry Bar.  Greatest idea ever!  It was so nice not having to wash, dry, and straighten this hair.  We decided we won't be doing our hair in Dallas again.

We are loving this!

Leone and Leslie came by to visit us and I was so glad.  It was good to see them even if just for a minute!

Our "After" pics!  I felt like my hair was a little too "done."  I felt fancy though.  Becky looked fab!

Peach Fest

Rebecca and I decided to put a booth in the Peach Festival in Ruston.  Our Lemons and Limes Boutique stuff is really selling well.  We are proud of our selections and our sales!!  We basically dripped sweat for 12 hours while peddling our merch.  We had to arrive at our booth at 6 am to set-up and the festival didn't even open until 8 am.  Neil even fashioned a little "fitting room" out of a shower curtain.  We were VERY proud of our dressing room.

Our booth was positioned between Lyle's Knives and a girl taking pictures with face painting.  We really enjoyed being next to the knife salesman.  He was really sweet.
The family came out to visit us along with  my Dad/Carolyn, Merideth/Molly, Katie McKinney, Hannah, and some other Ruston friends.  We felt special having so much support.

Bennett had to have a picture in front of this statue.  Reminds me of this...

The boys went with Nana and Neil to the Peach parade.  They got to sit right outside the store.  It was perfect to get relief from the heat AND to get Lewis' bags for all their loot!  Bennett caught TONS.  Sadly, all that candy had to stay in Ruston.

We were so HOT setting up our booth.  Neil and Rebecca began setting up the tent in the pouring down rain, but it turned out to be OK.  Richard and Neil made the set-up so seamless. Nana even gave us a battery operated fan for some relief.

Here's our booth!  You can see the white curtain for our fitting room in the back left of our booth.

Our next door neighbor painting his face.  She even bought something from us!

We both made sure to wear peach!

Tell your friends about Lemons and Limes Boutique!

Dallas Market

Since Rebecca and I started our new Lemons and Limes Boutique, we had to go to market to buy items to  sell!  We are excited about the "merch" we purchased in sizes ranging from small-2XL!  Please go like our page today!  If you don't have Facebook...tell your friends!

Rebecca, Erinn, and I arrived in Dallas on Friday night just in time for dinner.  Leslie picked us up from our hotel and took us to dinner.  We got back and Erinn unrolled the sofa bed and discovered something really gross.  This delightful find treated us to free breakfast and 5,000 Marriot rewards points!

The next day we were up and at 'em bright and early.  We headed to market and stayed there until 5pm.  It was a long day, but we found some great merchandise!
Mint green is the color for fall...we all matched.

We got back to the hotel and re-grouped, added up our purchases, and relaxed for a second.  We then met Leslie at her fancy apartment and then headed to Urban Taco.  It was a fun little Mexican place with fun friends.  After, we headed to Laduni for dessert.  We split the 4 cake slice sampler.  We each chose a slice to share.  I'm so glad that we all like sweets!

Cinnamon Brioche with caramel drizzle.  We all ended up liking someone else's pick better.
