Bennett's Birthday Dinner/Sci-port

Bennett had a day of fun for his 5th birthday.  We started with birthday breakfast, cupcakes at school, and then Sci-port.  He has been dying to try the Lego Sci-port exhibit.  So, we went after school.  I think one day a year it's OK to get to pick EVERYTHING and feel extra special.  Neil thinks I am crazy, but I think it's fun.

Anyway, I picked up the boys and headed to Sci-Port after school.  They loved building and playing in the costumes.

During the week leading up to his birthday we asked him where he wanted to go for his birthday dinner.  He kept saying "Strawn's for dinner and Red Mango for dessert."  So that is just what we did.  He is one LOVED boy because all of his grandparents, aunt, and family came to celebrate with him.  Mom and I got there early to decorate the table with ninja turtle table cloths and balloons.

They were really getting into it!

Bennett only wanted "1,000 eggs" for his dinner!

Next stop, Red Mango!  Boy, I was exhausted by this point.
Bennett put his own candles in.

Happy Birthday, Bennett!  We love you to the moon and back!

We are so glad the family drove all the way from Ruston to celebrate!  Rebecca even missed her small group Christmas party to attend.  They rock!
