On Sunday, we got up and Neil made waffles! We went to Sunday School and then came home for lunch. Bennett went down for a 3 hour nap and I wrote lesson plans, met with my Junior League advisor, and went to the grocery store. After all of this fun, we got to go to Brook's 1st birthday party. Julie (his mommy) went all out! They had it at their neighborhood park and it was a circus theme. They had face painting and a clown. It was a lot of fun and it was perfect weather.

Shep was a tiger! He said he wanted to be an orange tiger.
Bennett loved playing with the bubbles.
I could not believe he sat there to watch the magic show! He sat for about 2 seconds and was up running around.

We even got to see-saw! I think this picture is really cool. Neil took it from the other side of the see-saw.
Here is Bennett getting his face painted for the very first time. He got a sea turtle. He was OK for a minute but when she tried to outline it...he was not having it. We had a half-outlined turtle. It was really cute!
That clown is a little sketchy, so I don't blame Bennett for being a little skeptical!
