The 4th of July has to be one of my favorite holidays. This one was a great one. We had an action packed weekend that started with lunch in Nacogdoches with the family and then to Eastridge with the Montgomerys.
Bennett and Neil rode the BIG slide there. It looked like a blast.
The Montgomerys had us and the Buteaus over for the 4th. We all brought different things and had an awesome dinner of steak, baked beans, watermelon/avocado salad, and some totally awesome potatoes in a red pepper. Everything was so summery and good. The hit of the evening was definitely the ice cream truck stopping by their house. We all ran outside with our money and our kids. They loved it! We loved it too because combined I think we all took about 1,000 pictures to commemorate the event.
We started off with a push-pop that looked a little scary so we had to send it back and get a Shrek popsicle.
Bennett had a neon green Shrek that stained his hands and face. Georgia opted for a Spongebob and Mason had a patiortic bomb pop. They were so sticky, but they were loving it.
Here is the group minus Casey. Trey, Erinn, Matthew, me, and Neil If I knew how to photoshop, I would photoshop Casey in!
Great photo essay, Lindsey! It looks like so much fun!! You look beautiful too, by the way! Love ya, Fiona ;-)
