Neil and I will have our 3 year anniversary on Monday. We decided to get this camera for our anniversary gift. It was really a nice surprise for me. We have been talking about it for a while and then Neil said "let's go look at them at Best Buy." I was so excited!
He said that I use my point and shoot camera so much that he wanted me to have a nice camera. Everyone we have talked to about these fancy cameras says that they are worth every penny. I plan to take a little class this Summer to learn how to use it.

You will love it! We have a Canon DSLR (XSi) and it takes wonderful pictures. I highly recommend the 50mm/1.8 lens if you didn't buy it already with the camera. Have fun!

ReplyDeleteWe've had our Rebel for about 5 years and it is worth EVERY penny. I also would suggest getting the 50mm lens...I want it myself:)! You'll want to take pictures all the time now. The shutter speed is great!! Happy shooting!

ReplyDeletei LOVE mine and so will you! i took crystal garcia's class and learned a lot. she also recommended the 50mm lens. i got it from amazon for right at $100. good luck! my sisters call it the "mom camera" but i don't care!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE MY Canon! I am so happy that you got one!!! Yes, Take a class!!! I took one specifically designed to take pictures of your kids (before luke was born). Now, I am planning on minoring in photography (why not, since I am back in school anyway).
