I CANNOT believe Henry is already 4 months old. Where does the time go? It flies.
Weight: 13 lb 9 oz (25 %ile)
Length: 25 inches (55 %ile)
Head: 16 inches (40 %ile)
(I just looked at Evie's stats and they are the EXACT same measurements, but the percentages are totally different. Weird.)
- Size 2 diaper
- Size 3-6 month clothes
- We just bumped you up to 6 ounce bottles. You just didn't seem satisfied after 5 ounces. You eat 5 bottles a day.
- We are going to start rice cereal in the next day or so to see how you do. Dr. C said that it may help your spitting up.
- We've decided to let you "cry it out" at night, sort of. You wake up around 4 am and we give you the pacifier. If you wake up again, we give it back to you and then let you cry for 10 minutes. We just bumped you up to 15 minutes of crying. I hate listening to you cry so we turn off the sound on the monitor and set our phone alarms to wake us up 10-15 minutes later. Most of the time you are back to sleep when the alarm goes off. We turn the sound back on and pray you sleep until 7!
- You love your pacifier.
- You are smiling all the time now. We love it!
- You do such a great job on your tummy. I think it is all the Gymboree working you out that has helped.
- You've rolled over from your tummy to back a couple times. It is not a regular thing yet.
- You have started laughing and it is the sweetest sound.
- You have started blowing raspberries, "talking," and cooing so much this month.
- You love having your hands right in front of you on your chest. They are usually clasped.
- You will sleep anywhere which is so nice. We are always on the go so I appreciate it. I am going to let day care get you on a napping schedule.
- Speaking of daycare: you are NOT in anywhere yet. You've been on a list for over a year and I have now put you on plenty of others. I am just praying that everything will work out and you will get in somewhere. I go back to work January 17th whether you are in or not and we do not have a back up plan.
- I'm still your favorite person and I love that. We spend so much time together all day playing and running around that it just happened!
- You love Daddy and Bennett, too. Daddy is so good at comforting you and getting you to sleep.
Henry! We love you so much and can't wait to watch you grow and learn new things.
that is weird about the percentiles. Do you think it is different for boys and girls??
ReplyDeletecutie. Don't worry- ours still get up at 4 too. At least they did the last 2 days!
ReplyDeletepercentiles are different for boys and girls. he looks much bigger than 13 pounds though!
