Half Apple NYC Tour

Day 2 in NYC started EARLY.  We had to be at our tour at 9 am in the village.  It was a couple strolls and a train ride to our location.  My brother let us know 30 minutes before that he wouldn't be joining us due to the fact that he didn't get to bed until 4 am.

Heidi, our tour guide, knew a bunch of stuff and took us all around to areas we hadn't been.  We tried to make it to where we saw all different parts of the city during our stay in NYC.

The "Friends" Building

Washington Square Park

The largest private university in the country

building where Heath Ledger passed away

Little Italy

We went to Chinatown and Little Italy.  Chinatown was pretty much like the SF Chinatown.  We stopped by one little dumpling shop where you could get 5 for $1!!!  We thought we better do that because I mean when in Chinatown...

Chinatown food: dried shrimp, live turtles, and fish!
We walked to the Historic St. Paul's church and saw the new Freedom Tower (building 1 of the new WTC).
Building 1 of the new World Trade Center: Freedom Tower.  The other 3 pictures are  from St. Paul's church...a church that had no damage from the 9/11 attacks.  There were memorials set up all over the church.  The church has seen the great fire of 1776, George Washington's Inauguration Day, and the terrorists attacks of 9/11.

Can't remember what this was but it was pretty famous.
