Tech Send-off

Tech has started having "send-off" parties in various locations for local freshmen to meet others and to learn a little more about Tech.  They gather up lots of alums to host.  We had a great turn out of hosts and had an adorable ice cream social for them.  We just wish more would have come!

Cousin Sister Friend Time + Tech + The Festive Favor

We got to head over to Ruston for a wonderful evening of cousin sister friend time!  (That's what SK calls her time with Lillian)   We stayed with the Smarts ad snuggles Lillian!  We love our girl!

 I got up bright and early and headed to Tech!  Judith (Neil's cousin's wife) is a professor at Tech and was doing a really awesome project with her upper level communications class.  They were assigned a small business to look over their marketing and social media and to give pitch to the small business!

I was honored to be part of it!  My group of 4 guys contacted me and they really knew everything about my business and the ins and outs of the stats and numbers.  I was impressed!  They gave suggestions...one of which I have got to use! ---a more professional way to take my pictures!

I gave each of them a festive favor that says "Thanks a latte for all of your hard work!"  It was a Starbucks gift card!

 I was finished pretty quickly so I met SK and Rebecca at the trampoline park and then we all met Nana at Uptown Downtown for a yummy lunch! 

We got on the road shortly after to get the boys from school. What a fun little night in Ruston!

Henry's Scout Day at the Tech Game

We had been to Ruston for like 6 weekends in a row and just did not want to go again.  It was the Tech Scout Day game and we didn't want Henry to miss it!  Sweet Amy and Daniel offered to take him and HE LOVED IT!  They treated him like a king and had so much fun!

They had so much fun playing on the field!  I know Henry had fun because he was asleep when the brought him home.  Thank you, Amy and Daniel for giving Henry such a great time!

Bulldog Loving

We scooted over to Ruston one day after school to celebrate Aunt Becky's birthday.  Neil met us later because he was in Plano.  

We ran by some of the bulldogs and after 14 years I finally found my brick...well I only found one because they didn't have one for my Bachelors only my Masters.  Don't worry-I sent an email to the alumni foundation. Haven't heard back though.

Tech Homecoming 2018

Since the Walpoles moved back to Ruston from Atlanta they were so sweet to host a homecoming party for everyone!  It wasn't RHS homecoming-it was Tech's!  Someone (Beck) pointed out that it wasn't about half the group's homecoming, but we chose to celebrate anyway.

After the game we all went to Ponchatoulas for dinner (adults only) and they took a great group pic!  Too bad I missed it because Sister Leone had to take me home with an upset stomach!

We couldn't wait to get to the first Tech home game of the season, but first we had to stop to see baby Lillian!

The new bulldog project around Ruston is so much fun. They have 10 decorated bulldogs around the town and we were able to find 2!
