Henry is Friend of the Week!

Being friend of the week is a BIG deal in Kindergarten.  Moms You get to do so many fun things throughout the week and you feel so special!  Most kids are friend of the week during their birthday week, but Henry won't be in school during his birthday week...she chose a week in September for him.  

The first day you get to bring home Paws, the class mascot.  You are supposed to take pictures with it all week and make a scrapbook page for the class book.  We had a blast with Paws!   You also get to bring a Show and Tell Item (he brought a Wii remote), surprise sack items for the class, invite someone for lunch, and you get a special prize from Mrs. F.

Paws comes home with his own bag of books to read to him and a blanket.

We saw 2 other friends from class and they were thrilled to see Paws!  All 3 of these cuties have brothers in Scouts.

Paws even plays Wii.

And slept with Henry

We took Paws for ice cream.

Paws even liked our real dog, Gloria.

Henry wanted Chick-Fil a for his special lunch so mom and I brought lunch for this sweet friend of the week!

So glad Gammy came!

You get to sleep on the loft during your friend of the week time.  Here he is showing Gammy.

Henry picked out stickers at Hobby Lobby to adorn his page!  I broke out my old scrapbooking skills for this beauty!
