Thanksgiving Day with the Saints!

When Granddad wants to take everyone to the Saints game for his birthday-we do just that!  I was in charge of the poster and was thrilled to do it!

I got these color street nails that were perfect for the game!

Sweet Daniel stayed at the hotel with the girls

We had such great seats!

My hope was that NBC would out Bennett on TV, but it didn't work.

My boy is the biggest Saints fan!

Henry fell asleep after the 1st quarter.  Sweet thing.

Granddad got his birthday wish!

What a fun time together at the Saints game!  I love making memories with my family!

Thanksgiving at the Roosevelt

Our Thanksgiving brunch at The Roosevelt was super swanky and so much fun!  Dad and my brother came to join us and I was so glad!

Uncle Frank loves Henry!

Gosh they are so cute!

Having Lillian at our Thanksgiving was the BEST!

SK is obsessed with Lill

a toast on thanksgiving!

Henry had my camera again and took this great one!

Also this

My dad found this pearl in one of his oysters!

I LOVE being an aunt!

So, I ordered half and half tea.  They only had unsweet so I asked for simple syrup.  I just really didn't think it was that big of a deal considering this buffet was a damn fortune.  The server said "oh, I'll have to go downstairs for that."  I said "OK, thank you."  My brother could not quit laughing at my dang simple syrup!
And now for the obligatory Thanksgiving family photos in the beautiful Roosevelt lobby!

Everyone looked so great and was so happy!  It is so much fun to get dressed up together to celebrate Thankgiving!

Henry's Photo Skillz

Granddad wanted to celebrate his 65th birthday in NOLA at the Saints game and we happily obliged!  What a great trip!  Henry got picture happy with my camera and he did such a good job!

He didn't take this one, but it is so cute!

NOLA Night

We were super thrilled for our family Thanksgiving trip to NOLA for Granddad's birthday.  We were absolutely beside ourselves when Janine and Richard offered to take the boys with them and Rebecca offered to take SK!  Neil and I had a little quiet drive to NOLA-just us!  We stopped in Baton Rouge for a lunch date.  I sent my friend from Tech a message about where to eat and he suggested his restaurant: Southfin Southern Poke!  IT WAS DELICIOUS and so fresh!

We arrived at the Roosevelt and it was already decked out for Christmas and already magical!

This lobby though!
The fellas went to the bar, the kids were with Nana, so I ventured to Anthopologie and got a quick scalp massage.  It would have been lots better if the guy hadn't smoked right before.
I went right on back to the hotel for a major hair washing!

My brother stopped by the hotel and I was so glad!

Here we are waiting on a few folks to walk to the restaurant.

Here we are at Dickie Brennan's Bourbon house where we consumed a dozen dozen oysters!

We didn't discriminate between raw and chargrilled.

We were so excited that Beck and Shari met us for dinner!

What a fun night in NOLA!  Thank you Nana and Granddad!
