While the parents are away...

The kids will play!  Nana and Granddad gave the kids a great time while we were in Idaho!  They got to go to art camp everyday and made the best stuff!  They even had an art show at the end of the week to show off their stuff.  I love the peaches so much!

Thank you so much for keeping them safe and sound for us!

Nana's Birthday

Nana's birthday is St. Patty's day so we always get to have a fun themed birthday!  This year the grand-girls had matching shirts that said "Nana's lucky charm."  They looked precious and SK LOVED matching her cousin sister friend."

SK got to bring home the Jungle Friends Tiger this week and LOVED showing it off!

These girls love each other so much!

Actually we are all pretty obsessed with Lillian!

Henry's Grandparents Day

Henry had grandparents day and all 4 of his grandparents were there!  They made it extra special for him!

Henry was part of the cub scout posting of the colors and is so darn cute in his uniform.

Granddad, Gammy, Nana, and Pops took him to the bookfair, went to the photo booth, and even heard his little poem in his classroom!

Henry's Grandparents' Day

Henry was thrilled to invite all 4 of his grandparents to school!  He was proud to show off his art work and his classroom.  I think Gammy, Granddad, Nana, and Pops were all proud, too!

They began the morning in an assembly in the auditorium with a speech from me :), cheerleader performance, and door prizes.  I was NERVOUS for my speech for some reason.  We started a new club called the Fairfield Grands for grandparents.  Woohoo!

All of the grandparents went to the classrooms and Henry was SO EXCITED to see everyone!  They had a little program in the classroom, went to the book fair, and then went to the cafeteria for pictures and refreshments.  What a great morning!

I snapped this one before I left to man my booth.

Mrs. F sent me this one!

Sweet Jacobe's grandmother was at her other grandchild's classroom so Gammy was his stand-in!  Jacobe was so happy he kissed and hugged Mom!

School Stuff

We had a big "spirit night" at Red River Brewing for a parent meet and greet.  GREAT IDEA!

DADS Club recess was a success.  I love this one that Henry's teacher took!

Grandparents day!  I LOVE THIS!

Mom had to be Jacobe's grandmother for a little while until his grandmother could arrive.  He was so excited to show her all of his work!

Bennett's Bible Presentation

Our church has a wonderful tradition where they present a Bible to each 3rd grader.  What a wonderful family-filled morning!  We were so thrilled that Rebecca, Daniel, Dad, Carolyn, and Richard and Janine all came to celebrate their favorite 3rd grader!

Our celebrating was short lived because Neil and I were called of church to check on Sarah Kathryn.  Apparently she had fallen and her chin busted open spilling blood all over her dress and the floor.  They had to change her into some old clothes they had in a storage bin.  Poor girl!  Glad she is A-OK.  Thankfully we had some friends look at her chin and they determined she only needed glue.  No stitches for our girl.

We returned to church and sat on the back row with no family, a bloody dress, and a sad little girl.  Memories!

Sweet 3rd grade boys

How sweet!

They are extra sweet with their dabbing.

He was so glad Nana and Granddad were there!

The crew!  So glad everyone celebrated with us!

We were glad that Keegan, Anna Claire, and Jenny joined us.

God Bless Bennett! (cross cookies for the favors)

And Happy 41st Anniversary to Nana and Granddad!

We got to celebrate them, too!

Papa Simpson's Farm Field Trip

Bennett had a totally cool 2nd grade field trip to Arcadia, LA.  They went to Papa Simpson's farm and had so much fun.  Since Nana and Granddad only live about 15 miles from the farm...they went as chaperones! Since siblings weren't allowed to attend, I couldn't attend.  Bennett loved having Nana and Granddad there with him!

I am thankful for friends and Nana who sent pictures of my biggest boy.
