Father's Day Fun

We got in from the beach the day before Father's Day and got to planning a dinner for Dad!  Thankfully my brother is a chef in training-ish and He, Neil, and I all pitched in to make it great.  I made a peanut butter pie-dad's favorite.

We celebrated Father's Day in FL for Neil, Richard, and Daniel!

Father's Day

We got to spend Father's Day weekend at Aunt Catherine's house.  She is in Ireland for 2 weeks so we had the privilege of using her fabulous pool, house, and lake.  It was so nice to have veg out weekend.
We arrived on Friday evening.  Nana and Granddad had already gone to the grocery and had lots of meals planned.  Win!

I know 3 little kids who LOVE their daddy.
Too much!

Beau and the boys came out to the lake on Saturday to swim and tube.  I was the designated person to tube with all the kids.  FUN!  I am not really that fun though.  I am nervous the whole time that we are going to bump heads, bite our tongues, or fly off.  I am a basket case,
The boys sang "We will rock you" like champs. So serious and so cute!

I made the fabulous dessert for our Father's Day meal.  Grilled peaches with cinnamon/sugar butter melted on it.  Served over vanilla bean ice cream.

The Festive Favor does it again!  My dad's Father's Day gift.  He said "I don't eat Pop Tarts."  #itsthethoughtthatcounts

Father's Day 2014

We had a really nice Father's Day.  We let Daddy sleep in while the rest of the house was wide awake at 6:30.  The boys gave Neil his Saints football, coffee tumbler, and new tennis shoes.  Bennett walked around Dick's searching for the perfect gift for Neil.  He said "I just know Daddy is going to love this football."

He gave it to Neil and he was so proud!  Henry helped by opening the gifts.

Neil said he just wanted to stay home and grill so that's just what we did.  We had a slider bar with pulled pork, burgers, and chicken.  I bought a bunch of toppings and it was pretty delish!

Everyone loved the ice cream cake we had at my brother's birthday so I decided to get another for Father's Day.

Since we hope to be moving on June 30th, we took everyone to our (hopefully) new house.  We just love the property!

And this is the best one with Pops and the kids!  They were DONE with pictures by this time!

Happy Father's Day to the world!  Neil, you should be the advertisement for how a daddy should be.  I am so glad you are ours!
