Henry's Kindergarten Celebration

Henry did such a great job at his Kindergarten Celebration!  It was such a great program to end his kindergarten year.  He has grown so much, made so many friends, learned to read, and just really thrived this year.  Bridging Henry was the best ting we ever did for him.

He has grown to love school.  He doesn't want to miss!  I checked him out for a dentist appointment one day and he said "why can't the dentist just come to my school, I don't want to leave!"  He has loved his teachers and his favorite enrichment is STEM lab.  He is all about the science.  Recess is his favorite part of the day, though.

We got geared up for his performance in his Broadway production.  The lines were so cute and it was all about leaving Kindergarten and going to first grade.

Henry's line was:
"Thanks mom and dad for helping us breakthrough, we want you to know that IT HAD TO BE YOU!" and then they all sang "It had to be you!"  Precious.

He had to wear a tux and looked so dapper.

Loving it

He was presented with a certificate and his teacher showed a collage of pictures from the year on the Smartv.

So proud of our Kindergarten graduate!

Sweet little thing
We made it back to the classroom and Henry was no where to be found!  This is his teacher letting everyone know that he stayed back to hold the door for everyone. Sweetie

Mother's Day Weekend Tournament

We had a fun little baseball tournament on Mother's Day Weekend.  We left Sarah Kathryn's recital and headed right there.  Our team name was the Mama's Boyz!  The boys played their hardest and WON the tournament!  They even got gold rings with pink stones in them!

They gave each mom a pink rose.

Sarah Kathryn's FIRST Recital

Our girl had her very first ever ballet recital!  It was so sweet!  I am not really a dance mom so I was lost on all things hair, where to go, when to be there, etc.  It was stressful for this mama!  But, the performance was PERFECT!

We got to the dress rehearsal late and thankfully I saw a friend in the parking lot who took SK in for me and got her on stage.  The boys and I made it in to see her just as she was finishing.

The next morning I arrived 30 minutes early to be sure I did it all right!  We got there and got her settled backstage.  We were not allowed to stay back stage so I sent a coloring book and crayons for her.

How cute is this??

So precious!

She got busy coloring and stickering!  I had to wet her hair to get it in a bun and then I sprayed it with hairspray.  Dance Mom right here!

Sarah Kathryn and her dance mate, Harper.

Me with my girl!

so much fun doing all this girly stuff!
She was the 2nd dance and as soon as they blared the music and I saw her I started tearing up!  It was just so sweet!
I took this illegal picture of our little class of 4!  Ashlynn, Harper, Sarah Kathryn, and Slattery

She loves to dance to her song "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus
We were THRILLED that Aunt Becky, Uncle Daniel, Nana and Granddad, Pops, and our family were there to watch her!  Neil had to leave at intermission to get in line to get her.  The line was wrapped around the building after the performance.
Everyone had flowers for her which was so sweet!

Thanks for the flowers, Nana and Granddad!

Skating to 4th grade

Bennett's end of year celebration was at the skating rink and oh, so fun! We were late because of Henry's summer birthday party at school, but I was able to make it for a minute before heading back to the school for the yearbook signing party.  Whew.  May is BUSY!

He had $10 to spend so he upgraded to roller blades and bought a slush!

Such a sweet group of kids

Henry's Un-Birthday

Henry had 10 kids in his class this year with summer birthdays.  His teacher does a little summer birthday celebration for them, but this year she had to have 2 because there were so many!  She celebrated 5 kids on Henry's day.  We were assigned 12 donuts for the celebration.  I picked up letter donuts that spelled HAPPY BIRTHDAY.  Henry was excited!

All the birthday kids get in the middle and the rest of the class dances around them while singing a sweet song.

Since we bridged Henry, all the kids minds were blown when he said he was going to be 7 on his next birthday.  Take a peek at the classroom...bare!  A huge storm cam through and destroyed the classrooms and roof.  They had to take everything down and cover electronics with plastic.  Poor things.

Un-Birthday Hugs

Someone else brought papergoods, drinks, and the other 12 dounts

Henry even got to have the yearbook signing party on the same day!  What fun!

Field Day 2018

Field Day was an emoji filled, concession eating, race running, and all around good time!  It was set up differently this year so I had to run between the two playgrounds to see both kids.  Henry's races were in the morning while Bennett had carnival time on the front playground.  Thankfully I had friends there who have older kids who wanted to "babysit" Sarah Kathryn!  It was a dream!

Henry's cute class right after opening ceremonies!

Ready to Race!

Bennett loves a dunking booth

Jonas let SK just push the button to dunk him.

It's my first field day!

Jenna and SK are the perfect pair.  SK loves Jenna!

Bennett is serious about field day!

Henry was careful with the emoji plunger race.  He took his time and didn't let the ball fall.

They had to stack the buckets in a pyramid.  Bennett was stressed about this one because other kids were taking too long. He was saying that BEFORE he went and did it.  This was a tough one.
