Mothers Day 2019

My people always make me feel so special on Mothers Day and this year was no different.  We got to attend our church and had a fun brunch at Glenwood Tea Room.  I love having a fancy tea so this was right up my alley!  None of the boys liked it for some reason.

Ms. Billie asked my little angels to pass out bookmarks to all the mothers and women at our church,

And of course, we matched!

Henry wanted to take our picture!

So happy to be together!

sweet card from my bro!  So glad he is here to be at all of our events!

Mother's Day Weekend Tournament

We had a fun little baseball tournament on Mother's Day Weekend.  We left Sarah Kathryn's recital and headed right there.  Our team name was the Mama's Boyz!  The boys played their hardest and WON the tournament!  They even got gold rings with pink stones in them!

They gave each mom a pink rose.

Mother's Day Weekend

Our Mother's Day weekend was a little bit different than the past. It was spent at the "Mother's Day Weekend" baseball tournament!  I wouldn't have had it any other way!  We had so much fun cheering on our big boy!  Our family came to the ballpark for a game before heading to a delicious lunch at Grub.

We love seeing Connor at the tournaments!

My Sweet Bennett made breakfast for me! a Rice Cake, poptarts, and apple juice!  He ate a few bites of the rice cake!

All the mommas

So proud of his ring!

So proud of our 2nd place boys!

Mother's Day 2015

I always feel extra special on Mother's Day.  Neil, the kids, my family, and Neil's family always make sure I have a good day.  Mother's Day 2015 was no different.  I've decided that Sarah Kathryn and I will try to match on Mother's Day every year.  I really hope we can do this!  It is so much fun to match my girl...hope she wants to match until she is 25!  I have a feeling she will think it's dumb by about 9.  I will try!

We had lunch at Trace, came home and cleaned up the yard, and Neil cooked a delicious dinner.  Low key=just what I needed.

Our Family
Happy Mother's Day, Mom!
Happy Mother's Day, Nana!

I've been wanting one of these handwritten fill-in sheets about myself forever. Bennett brought this little gem home to me.  I
am good at "Seegeen" according to Bennett. Yesssssssss!  (Singing)

Henry's teacher made a delicious breakfast for all the mom's for a Mother's Day breakfast.  She had everything decorated so cute and she even gave me a gift certificate to Akin's!  So sweet of her!  She really goes above and beyond!  I loved spending the morning with my sweet Henry.

Here's the placemat I got to use for breakfast at Henry's school.  He drew our family and answered a few questions about me.
My mother's name: Lindsey
She is so..."beautiful"
Her favorite thing to do with me is... "play with me"
The very best things about her is... "she makes dinner"
This is what she does everyday to make me feel special... "she helps my dad out"
 LOVE THIS!

Mother's Day 2014

We had a happy Mother's Day around here.  It was sort of non-eventful because we had to stay home all weekend due to potty training Henry.  He has to be trained by August or he can't start First Baptist.  Neil made mom and me feel extra special.  He got up and cooked pancakes for me and the kids, made a fabulous lunch of Newk's and Cane's, and then grilled pork chops and made home-made mac and cheese for dinner.  I guess all we did was EAT the whole day!  Thanks, Honey!

Gammy loved her pedi/mani gift certificate!

Bennett is wearing his current outfit of choice...JEANS.  He wears them even when it is 90 degrees outside.

I heard some banging around in the kitchen and wondered what was going on.  Neil was whipping up a surprise dessert for me!  How sweet!  He knows how much I love cookie cake so he made one.  I smelled something burning a little while later...

oops...didn't take into account that it would expand and fall all over the oven.  No big deal...it was still delicious!
The boys got to decorate the cake...

And finally a picture with all 3 of my babies!!!  yesssssssssss!  One blessed Mama!

all my cards

Look what Henry made and planted.  Sweet!
And I now have a little trivet with Bennett's picture on it!

I love hand-made gifts from my babies!!
