SD Zoo and SD Padres

We started our day at the San Diego zoo-apparently this is everyone's favorite zoo!  It was  a nice zoo, but I guess we were just over the zoo scene.  Our legs were tired and everything was so spread out so we sort of called it quits early in the day in favor of rest before our baseball game!

The gondola across the park was super fun!  Since dad had a scooter we got to ride it across and back in order to get the scooter. It was a neat little trip.

We went to the hotel and got changed into our baseball attire for the game.  The weather was great and so were our seats.  We were on the highest row of the lowest level so that meant we were right near the concessions and bathrooms.  No stairs and no jumping over people.

Bennett was called up the Majors!

Bennett was called up to the Majors for Little League All Stars.  We were out of town for his age group's all-stars so he couldn't try out.  The older team (The Majors) asked Bennett to play!  He did a great job!

Our friends were in Lafayette with the 9-10 all-stars and they watched our game while they were on a break.  Sweetest!

The fields in Bastrop, LA were so nice!  They had cameras on every field that streamed all of the games.

Exhausted!

This crew didn't get the results they wanted for sure.  Bennett was honored to be called up!  And in my opinion...he should have played way more.

Little League 2019

Neil was in charge of the Little League opening ceremonies and they were a hit! (pun intended)  He had skydivers, a facepainter, food trucks, a fireworks show, and each team was presented on the field.  What a fun way to kick off baseball!

Bennett's 10th Birthday party!

We celebrated our boy BIG TIME at D1 Sports facility.  He LOVED it!  It was perfect for a game of dodgeball and football.  These boys were rowdy and they had so much fun!

Bennett asked for coats instead of gifts and he was thrilled with how many coats he got! 36!

The festive favors were blow up baseballs with a fab 1 week free at D1.

I used the weights at the joint as balloon weights. #resourceful

Dodgeball!  I killed!  And by killed I mean I was not good at all.

He will do great things with his big heart!!! 

Bennett was even on the news for his coat drive!  They came and interviewed him at our home!
