Galentine's Day

We had such a fun Galentine's Day at Jennifer's house!  We had delicious Kumo sushi and each brought a favorite thing to exchange!  We are going to do a gift exchange every other month because why not?

I made a yummy cinnamon chocolate cake with homemade chocolate ganache!  I did a pink drizzle, but by the time I got to Jennifer's it had all moved!

So much fun!  We missed you Leighann!

I got this Bare Minerals clay mask!  Thanks Jenn!

Sigma Kappa Mock Recruitment

I was PUMPED to take Sarah Kathryn back to the Sigma Kappa lodge for mock recruitment this year!  It used to be one of my favorite days during recruitment workshop because all of the alums, moms, and friends would come see how hard we worked!  Amy and I took SK and had so much fun!

We got to watch the slideshow and it was so good!  I even teared up and had the chills the whole time!

We took a picture next to my brick at the lodge!

Wine and Wigs

One of our big money makers at the school auction is Wine and Wigs.  We had 11 hostesses who brought wine and appetizers and then we charged $30 per person to come.  DEAL!  Julie made personalized stemless wine glasses for each person.  So much fun!  It's all for the kids!

The cup and the cute wine glass cookie I made.  Well, made happen.  I ordered them and then picked them up.

Group pic!

Amy and me. I went patriotic this year!

We had a wig change.  Wendy, me, and Julie.  I am wearing this gorgeous mermaid style wig.

I love these types of parties just for the kids!  We have fun and make money just for the kids!

Canton Girls Trip

My girl and I took a little overnight trip and got to be the very first guests at my friend, Amanda's Canton Guesthouse!  It was LEGIT!  It was so modern, yet cozy.  The linens were luxurious!  Her mom, Lola was the best innkeeper...she even babysat Sarah Kathryn while Amanda, Leslie, and I went to dinner!  Talk about hospitality!

Amanda has 12 sprawling acres nestled right in the heart of Canton, TX. I'd recommend this to anyone needing a quick getaway!

Thank you, Sister for having us!  We were honored to be your first guests!

Her private pond with pedal boat!

Look how swank the inside is!

How cute!

This girl LOVED this trip so much.  She dressed herself and I went with it, because we were on a girls' trip and you can do wear whatever you want on a girls trip.

We went to a fun little breakfast place...just the two of us.

She wanted some make-up...real make-up so I laid it on thick.

Always posing...just like mommy!

She loved Lola's HUGE wrap around porch. Lola also has 2 dogs that were so much fun to play with.  This girl LOVES dogs.  They had so much fun!

I am hoping this will become a mother/daughter tradition.  Maybe we can sneak away the first weekend of Spring Break every year while the boys head to Ruston with Nana and Granddad.  Poor Daddy was home all alone.  He told me to please not worry...he'd be just fine!
