Charleston Riverdogs Game

I was trying to give Bennett some culture on this trip to the East Coast, but I think it turned into a baseball trip!  Once Bennett found out that there was a minor league team in Charleston that's the only thing he wanted to do!  They happened to be in town so we got tickets to the 7pm game.

We arrived at 7 to find out there was a rain delay until 8pm.  It started at 8pm!  It was a close game so we didn't leave until it was over at 11pm!  Bennett loved being able to run all over the place getting autographs, collecting balls, and finding new people to play with.  It was pretty safe and I could see him from our seats.  We sat in front of some people on lived on Kiwah Island and had season tickets.  They were some sweet retirees who talked to us all about the Riverdogs!

He loves his Riverdogs hat.  Pops got one too!

Bennett made sure to bring his glove!

Our section of the stadium had it's own attendant and server!  How fancy!  He told us to make sure to get our first game certificate so we went right over there and got it.  Chelsey was there to greet him.

Dad caught a bag of boiled peanuts!  Bennett traded it to one of the players for 2 baseballs!

LOVING IT

Autographs before the game

The players were so friendly!

This guy was the pitching coach and not the friendliest.

Dad caught a ball that one of the players threw to him.

He loved it and so did Chelsey!

He could not get enough of this!
The Riverdogs won!  4-2!  I couldn't remember this information.  Bennett just had to remind me!
