Perot Museum-Children's Area

After our totally fun weekend in Dallas last weekend, we decided to take the boys back for a fun day.  We began our day a the Perot Museum.  I was so glad that Leslie and Amanda came to see us.  Leslie even brought some delicious brown butter cookies for us.  I ate all of them!

We have a Sci-Port membership and guess what?  It was a reciprocal membership at the Perot.  We were able to go for FREE!  This was a $50 value.  Love it.

We started at the Children's Area.  It was a blast!  We started in the Farmer's Market area.  They put on their aprons and went shopping.  Then they went and put all the food in truck to re-stock the shelves.  Henry walked up the 2 stairs to the truck and then did a face plant right off them.  I screamed, but he was more concerned with his tomato that he dropped.

The next area was the "Mini Dallas" space.  It had slides and conveyor belts.  They could build with blocks and even slide.

We went to the art area and they had any art item you could imagine.  It was such a fun spot!  It would have been my favorite as a child, but they were ready to move along after about 7 minutes.

Henry planted flowers...

The camping area was SO MUCH FUN!  They had a fake camp fire with a skillet for cooking.  You could dress up like wild animals and even sit at the picnic table.  It was so cute!

Bennett LOVED the water area. Henry basically just dumped the water on his head and walked off.
