Bulldog Loving

We scooted over to Ruston one day after school to celebrate Aunt Becky's birthday.  Neil met us later because he was in Plano.

We ran by some of the bulldogs and after 14 years I finally found my brick...well I only found one because they didn't have one for my Bachelors only my Masters.  Don't worry-I sent an email to the alumni foundation. Haven't heard back though.

Daddy's Brick!  Class of 2005

Class of 2011 brick for my Masters!

Another with my 2011 because there wasn't one for my class of 2004!

On the Stage

I went to chapel with SK and she got to go on stage!  She got to help the other kids learn a song!  And she is rocking those cowgirl boots all day everyday!

Caddo Principals' Luncheon

I love being part of the PTA board so much!  I get to do so many incredible things and one is planning and decorating the table at the Principals' Luncheon!  This year the theme was our principals are INCREDIBLE!  I photoshopped our 3 honorees heads on the body of Mrs. Incredible and added them to out flower arrangements!  SO much fun!

Everyone had a party favor/placecard!

What a great group of INCREDIBLE people!

Our Incredible Science Teacher, Principal, and Art Teacher!

Fall Picture Day

School pictures....so cute and so many memories!

This is what Sister wore in hers and in her class group picture!

She she got to be the leader!

And the boys looked sooooo cute! It was a navy year this year.  I've tried to alternate navy and white each year so have a variety!

Pumpkin Shine on Line 2018

This year our school theme for Pumpkin Shine was "Set Sail for Fairfield!"  Each grade has a specific theme to make our display.  1st grade (Henry) was anything pirate related.  He painted a pirate ship and didn't want ANY help!  It turned out pretty great!

Bennett's grade (4th) was anything US water related (due to them studying US history). He did Blue Mountain Beach.

Sister doesn't go to school with them, but wanted in on the action-she (I) made a pirate treasure chest.

We had about 10-12 blue tablecloths for the "water."

She was so proud!

He did great!  We borrowed sand from a friend!

So proud of his pirate ship!

WE LOVE having Uncle Frank in town with us!

Oh this was Uncle Frank's pumpkin! haha! He painted a pirate!

Family pic!  And also my dad's only Instagram post.  Find him @billjones822

Gingerbread House Luncheon

When I heard that Dave Pelzer was coming to speak at the 20th annual Gingerbread House luncheon-I knew I wanted to go.  When I saw that the tickets were $125 each I knew I wouldn't be able to swing it.

Dave wrote the book "A Child Called It."  Mrs. White and I taught this book SO MANY times that I feel like I've read the book 100 times.  I commented on the post on Facebook and tagged Mrs. White! She was pumped too!

Later on that day, the Executive Director sent me a text and invited us to go!  I feel a little free-loader(ish), but we wanted to go and I am so glad we did!  What a special treat to hear Dave Pelzer speak about his trials with child abuse and how he overcame it!

Me, Dave, and Mrs. White!

Jersey Boys at the Strand

Jenn let us know that Jersey Boys would be playing at the Strand.  I knew my dad would love it because this is totally his type of music. I asked if he wanted to go and he said YES!  Well, I asked him while he was in the hospital, bought the tickets and 2 months later he had no idea.  I reminded him and he was pumped!  Neil had to coach a baseball game for Bennett so I invited Carol to go with us!

We went to Chianti before with my brother and then off to the show we went!

Sat right by the McGuires and right behind the Temples from Ruston!

So much fun!
