Disneyland Day 1!

We weren't up bright and early like our fabulous Disney planner suggested and that was just fine-Henry is my sleeper and isn't trying to wake up before around 9am.  So, we let him sleep.  He and Pops put on their matching shirts and we headed to the park!  We did California Adventure the first day and it was super fun.  We learned to navigate the scooter rental for Dad and it turned out to be great that we were entering the park mid morning-no lines!

We saw Goofy right when we arrived and had to get our pic!

Pops-living that Disney scooter life.  It was nice to have the basket on the front for all of our stuff!

I cannot say enough about how Disney treats people with disabilities.  It is truly remarkable.  We were able to get Dad safely on the rides and they would have his scooter turned the correct way so he could just get on and drive off.  They would stop the rides for him to get on.  It was just incredible!  It was very nice to have this luxury to get on rides and beat the lines, but it was honestly so needed.  We wouldn't have been able to do half the stuff we did without it.

Henry LOVED all of the treats!  And Dad was happy to oblige him!

So glad we had the Memory Maker package.  All of the Disney pics were so good!

Dad was totally feeling all things Disney!

Each day we would go back to the room for rest time and it was perfect!  We'd go back to the park for dinner, rides, and fireworks each night.

The evening in Cars land was so cute!

Watching the fireworks with this sleepy head. He loved being able to ride the scooter out of the park!
