Feasts and the Harvest Festival

We were slammed the week before Halloween with Sarah Kathryn's Harvest Festival, Henry's Thanksgiving feast and finally Sarah Kathryn's feast!  Whew!  I am tired just typing that!

All of these events are so memorable and and so special!

Sarah Kathryn's teacher suggested that they wear their hair in braids so we stopped by school so Amy could braid Sarah Kathryn's hair!  yay!  Thankful for friends!

My sweet Princess Snowflake and Camilla is Flittering Butterfly

We got to rotate around to lots of stations and this one was pottery making

Next stop was the Scout Hut where the kids got to make copper punching and homemade butter.
Photo frame making!

Looks like we love pictures of SK and Camilla!  They are just so darn cute!

Rain stick making!
Decorating her rain stick

Indian corn magnet making.  This is where she threw a GIANT fit that was utterly ridiculous!

This station is usually outside by an open fire where they make fresh popcorn, but it was freezing so they moved everything inside and gave them already popped popcorn!

Copper punching

Look at that butter!

She spread it on a cracker and everything!  Growing up!
We had feast the next day.  It was so cute with everything set up on the playground and all the kids dressed up!

Camilla, Mrs, Hogan, and SK.  They LOVE Mrs. Hogan!

Chowing down at the feast

We were soooo happy that Daddy could come to the feast!
After SK's feast, I headed to Chick-fil-a to pick up food for Henry's feast!  We were really feasting!  At Fairfield, the K-1st grader families come for Thanksgiving, 2/3rd for Easter, and 4th/5th goes for Christmas.

Our Rowdy Raccoon was thrilled to have us there!

Such a cutie!

We got to sit with our sweet friends, Katherine and Truett!

Henry wrote the sweetest "I am thankful for" writing and drew the sweetest picture!  It says "I am thankful for my mom.  She gives me kisses.  She gives me hugs.  She is the best mom in the world. Henry"  I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

I bought him a fall cakepop from Buttercups to make his "thanksgiving feast" a little festive!
