Pagosa Springs Wildlife Park and hike

We went to the local wildlife park and got to watch the feeding of the animals.  It was really neat to watch the feeder toss raw meat over to the animals.  After each animal, the girl would say "does anyone have questions?"

Most people asked questions, but Sarah Kathryn raised her hand after the bear was fed and said "ummm it eats fish."  No question.  SHE KNOWS EVERYTHING. What am I going to go when she is 16?

This was the moment it started sprinkling so Henry and I headed in!  Bennett and SK wanted to stay so Neil stayed with them. About 3 minutes later there was a huge downpour

So cool!

 We got back to the house and cooked dinner and then went for a fun walk around the river.

This is so gorgeous!

We look like a really cool band.

 After we took these pictures, we played "River Golf."  This is a Scurlock family original.  Basically you put a rock between your legs and try to walk it over to a circle on the ground without letting it fall.  You have to squat and let it drop in the circle!  SO funny and SO much fun! 

This was taken right on the balcony of their home!  BEAUTIFUL!
