Our Bennett is 4!

I just cannot believe our Bennett is 4 years old.  These 4 years have just flown by.

We were all up before 6 and ready to celebrate!  We started out with presents and birthday pancakes that are the most delicious things ever.  I was glad to be off to see my dad in the hospital but it made it that I could be with my B for an extra long morning.

Yay!  so excited about a new Pete the Cat book!

We went shopping a few days before to pick out Spiderman plates and napkins.  He said he needed Spiderman plates because Keegan had them on his birthday.  He passed out the plates to each friend.

You have a BIG personality!!

I picked Bennett and Henry up from school and then we headed to Carolyn's house.  She had a really nice gift for him!

Bennett chose Chick-fil-a for his birthday dinner....They were doing "kid's night" with balloons and  crafts and we just pretended that it was for his birthday.

Since Pops was still in the hospital and he wanted to see Bennett open his birthday gift from him...we took the birthday party to him.

The Hulk piggy bank from Toy Fair that he picked out a month ago.  Carolyn was so sweet to  fill his bank!

What are you up to these days, Bennett?

• You have a BIGGEST personality I've ever seen in a 4 year old.

• You are a nail biter.  You chew on your fingers all day long.  I told Leigh and she said that she started biting hers at age 3 and still hasn't stopped!  I wonder if you will.

• You like to protect your friends which can sometimes lead to "being too rough."

• You wear a size 9 shoe and size 4T clothes.

• You have been getting lots of notes home and texts from school.  We want you to be a good boy, but are having lots of difficulty at school with your behavior.

• You have a love/hate relationship with Henry.  You LOVE your brother as much as us.  You like to show him off and make sure people pay attention to him.  But, if people are showing him too much attention...you do NOT like that.  You like to bump into him and knock him over.  But, the other day the only person you wanted to talk to while you were at Nana's was Henry.

• You still wear a pull-up at night.  You like to use "fun ones" (urinals) when we are out in public.  You like to go to the bathroom at every single public place we ever go to.

• You love books!  You like looking at every page.

• You think Daddy is the "coolest, strongest, and fastest" guy around.  You say this quite a bit and we think it's the cutest.

• You think the camp and 4 wheelers are so awesome.  You want to go to the camp everyday.

• You love to sing and your favorite song is "Chillin' on a Dirt Road" by Jason Aldean.  You also like "Hard to Love" by Luke Bryan.  You can find them on Daddy's phone and he says you play them on repeat all the way to school EVERY morning.  We love hearing you sing.

• You love all of your grandparents and they love you.  You say "I want to go to Nana's at least once a week."

We love you to the moon and back or as you say it "I love you to the moon and THE back!"  You are our sweetest boy with the sweetest heart.  You are thoughtful and care about others.  We are so proud to be your parents!
