Bennett's teacher sent a big Powerpoint with pictures and this cute e-mail of everything they have been doing this month. I just love that she sends these so that we know what they've been doing. Love it!
Hello Parents,
Today we went to see the holiday program in the gym. Your child may come home pretending to be a toy soldier marching or a ballerina dancing. We really enjoyed watching all the children dancing and singing and when we returned to our room some of us turned into toy soldiers and marched around the room. I have attached some photos from the month of December. We painted with cinnamon paint to make our gingerbread men. We used paint brushes with jingle bells on them to paint our candy canes. We read the gingerbread man story and pretended to be gingerbread men on the playground as we shouted “Run, run as fast as you can. You can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man.” We learned a song about five bells, five Christmas trees, and a peppermint stick to name a few.
Friday morning will be our Holiday Party. We will have our snack around 9:30 a.m. Please feel free to join us and bring the younger siblings for this merry occasion.
Notice the spices and flour all over Bennett's sleeve...he must have been busy! |
