Chocolate Chip Snowball Cookie

Bennett and I made these cookies today after school.  I found these on Pinterest and they were so delicious!  The recipe is from here.

Ingredients:
3 sticks butter, softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups flour
2 cups mini semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts (I left these out)

Preheat oven to 375F.  Beat butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt in a large mixer until creamy.  Gradually add the flour and stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.  Shape level tablespoons into 1 1/4 inch balls.  Place them on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the cookies are lightly browned.  Remove from the oven and sift powdered sugar on top of hot cookies.  Cool on sheet for 10 minutes and move to a wire rack.  Sprinkle more powdered sugar, if desired.  Store in air tight container   Makes 5 dozen.
