Leaves

Bennett has been learning all about leave at school lately.  His teacher has asked us to send leaves from our yard to school for the kids to play with on their playground.  We don't have any trees in our yard and I like it that way! So, we went for a nature walk through our neighborhood to find some.  We stopped down the street to make a leaf angel and have our photo shoot in a leaf pile...1 more thing to check off the Fall Bucket List!

They are reading a book in class called Leaves.  The kids in the book do all sorts of things with leaves.  One of them uses a leaf for a mask.  Bennett's teacher said he found a big leaf and put it up to his face and said "Look, a mask!"
