Bennett's New School

We went to Bennett's new school so that he could meet the pre-school director.  He loved it so much that he cried for 15 minutes screaming "my new school, I don't want to go home!"  We are so glad that he loved it.  I would much rather him cry when he has to leave then be too scared to stay.  We are thrilled about all of the new and fun things he will have the opportunity to do.  I already added all of the fun things from their calendar to my phone.  We have open house and even back to school night coming up very soon.  They have all kinds of fun activities for the kids, parents, and grandparents.  We decided to move him from a daycare situation to an actual school because we really want him to start having a "school-type" day.  They will be learning so much and I just love that he will have a certified early childhood teacher.  Another reason for switching to our new school is that they actually keep kids until 5:30 pm and it the only place we found that takes a 2 year old.  As a dual career family, we have to have extended care.  Here are a few pictures from Bennett's little "meet and greet!"

He loved all of the "big trucks" in the preschool courtyard.

He was so excited about everything in the room...he couldn't figure out what to play with first!

He loved the sand table.

This was Bennett when we left.  He cried for a good 15 minutes and kept asking when he was going to his new school.
