Spring Break Day 1

So far, Spring Break has been great. It's been a great first day because I know I am off work for the next week. We started the morning with omelettes and just lounging around the house. I had to take my Principles of Learning and Teaching test today at Centenary. This test has to be completed before I can being my internship in the Fall. It probably would have been a good idea for me to look over the stuff that was going to be covered before I took it. I totally bombed the test. There was a strict policy on not having cell phones in the building. Well, I did not know this rule and didn't have enough time to take it back to my car. The test proctor said that it would be "too bad" if I didn't make it back when she was ready to start. So...I had to take my cell phone outside and leave it in one of those tall outdoor ash trays. UGH! Luckily, it was still there when I got finished.

I wanted us to be able to go to the St. Patrick's Day parade, but the test took until 1:30 pm! It was a beautiful day here in Shreveport...a great way to start Spring Break. We missed the parade so we went to Chick-fil-a for lunch and some play time. We went to Wal-Mart after to get groceries and then to the highlight of our day...Georgia's birthday party!

We had a good time at the party. She looked so cute in her little gym attire. Bennett was really loving getting to play. He was in to everything and climbed on everything. Of course, I took a ton of pictures.

It is so hard to get pictures of boys on the move. Here are Mason and Bennett.

Here's Bennett getting to roll on the big ball to get "birthday kisses."

Here are the boys again. They are so cute!

Here's the birthday girl. It's the best one I got of her! I can't believe Georgia is 2!

Here's the adorable cake!

After we got home from the party, Neil installed Bennett's Christmas gift from my dad. He got him these to make travel easier. We let Bennett try them out, too. He loved them!
