St. Jude Gala

The St. Jude Gala was a hit this year!  Our theme was fabulous and so much fun!  The theme was No Mo Chemo and all of our decorations were so fab.  It looked like a fun birthday party when you walked in the room. Amy and I chaired the auction where we collected over 120 items to auction.  Amy entered every single item into the system and stored them at her house.  Talk about a feat!

Our goal was 275K, but we raised 320K!  We were so excited to raise money so that no child dies in the dawn of life!  St. Jude is truly amazing and I am so glad to be part of this team!

Neil is 37!

We celebrated the mess out of Neil this year!  Since his birthday was on a Thursday the morning began at McDonalds.  The boys and Neil meet my dad every Thursday before school for breakfast.  I brought a candle for his biscuit, but he wasn't having it!

We went to Toyko for lunch with the Favrot's and Ken Womack.  It was a little family/work lunch.  I picked up Buttercups and we all shared the cupcakes.

We went to dinner at the Crawfish Hole with Neil's family.  I made a pink angel food cake and Nana made whipped cream.

Happy 37th, Daddy!  We hope it is the best one yet!

Henry's 50s Day

Henry had such a fun party to celebrate only 50 days left of Kindergarten!  We borrowed the same leather jacket from Melanie that Bennett wore in his play and had our little 50s stud!

The kids got to have a sock hop, drink coke floats, learn the difference between things today and things in the 1950s, and make fun crafts.  What a cool party!

They even got to play BINGO!

Class pics!

Dr. Seuss Week

We love to celebrate Dr. Seuss week at school. Everyday is a different dress up day to go along with a different Dr. Seuss book.  It's fun to get get out of the uniform every once in awhile.

Lunch with Henry and his favorite friends: Caden and Izaiah (When you eat lunch with your child they get to pick 1 or 2 friends to sit with you. Henry always chooses Caden!)

Crazy hair day with crazy dress up

Oh, the places you'll go day!  You could wear a college, vacation, or career outfit.  We wore a Peabody, Memphis shirt.

Henry's teacher was out of town for Seuss Week so she asked me to take class pics.

Henry's Kindergarten picture

Our little Kindergarten graduate!  They said that we should wear a white shirt under, but of course I forgot so he wore navy.  Oops.

Henry got glasses!

Henry's teacher said he wasn't doing his work to the best of his ability.  She suggested we get his vision checked.  The Dr. said he needed glasses so we got them!  He looks so cute in them!

2 days later:

This is what happens when you leave your glasses on the floor of the garage!

Colorful Colorado

Jill and Kenneth invited us up to their mountain home that is literally right next to the ski lift.  Like I've never seen something so fancy!   Thank you Jill and Kenneth for the invitation!

We were excited to snow ski for the first time.  I have never been and neither have the boys.  Neil had been snowboarding 2 time before and the last time he went was 18 years before.

The 16 hour drive really wasn't bad at all since we left Sarah Kathryn at home.  So glad we did that!  It was such a an enjoyable trip for the 4 of us!

We arrived when it was dark so we didn't know the beautiful views we would see right from their porch the next morning.

This picture was taken from their porch the next morning.  It's so pretty and untouched!

Ready to go!

The loved sledding down the little hill.

I mean how gorgeous is this?

Bennett getting ready for his snowboarding school

I watched no less than 30 people BUST it getting off this left.  The 2 times I did it, my ski teacher told me just what to do so I didn't even fall!  I was so proud!

Henry LOVED the snow so much.

Loving a selfie

Snow tubing was so cool! and cold.

Mountain Man

Mountain Man again

Totally shredding!

Me and B!!

We went for a family hot chocolate one afternoon after ski school.

The kids ad so much fun for playing right off the porch.

Henry wanted to build a snowman the whole time.

He picked out his sweet lego neck wrap!

This is the road out of the condo area!

This is SOOOOO MUCH FUN!  Can't wait to go back to Purgatory in June!
