Beach Boy Henry

Henry had lots of fun at the beach this year.  He wore his puddle jumper most of the time.  It was for peace of mind and safety because he is a wild man!  Henry really needed a nap everyday, but would just not fall asleep.  We finally got him down 1 day and he never woke up until the next morning!  Beach tired is a REALLY big tired!  Henry and Jake played lots and were usually content to make up games on their own.  Henry's claim to fame this trip was that he pooped in a beach bucket on the beach! Yes.  I had no other way to help him.  I am thankful that he didn't go in his pants!

Neil buried him and made him look like a "marmaid."

This was Henry's only nap...and he fell asleep with his shirt on backwards with a bag of Cheetos!

His poor head!  We caked sunscreen on it every 80 minutes.

Beach Boy Bennett

Bennett loved the beach this year.  He loved staying outside all day just like his mama.  He played in the waves and dug in the sand.  what a joy Bennett is!  He liked borrowing Drew's life jacket when the waves got big.  He never went in the water without goggles either!

He said this was a seat he dug for "relaxing."

Drew and Bennett built a little "village."  They played for hours.

Gammy bought kites and the boys had a blast flying them.

The boys went fishing one morning and had so much fun!

2015 Family Beach Pics

We took LOTS of family photos during our week at the beach.  And you know this made this picture loving fool happy.  :)

We went to eat at Cafe 30 A one night.

Gammy and her favorite boys

I can't get over all this cuteness.
Dad got matching Southern Tide shirts for all the boys!  How cute and so preppy!

This was the best family photo we got! ha!  We took 75!  Thanks, Leigh!

I didn't really sit down and make sure our outfits actually matched...I should have.  I just had the idea in my mind.  Didn't work.  Henry had to borrow Jake's shirt!

Sissy was cheesing!
A few dune pics and we got this one!  Hey, at least we are all in it.

Loaded Down and Beach Bound

We were up and ready to head to the beach at 5am on Saturday morning.  Mom arrived, we loaded her stuff and headed out. We were naive to think any of the children would go right back to sleep after waking them up.  That dream didn't happen.  Really the drive down wasn't too bad.  SK did scream for about 1-2 hours collectively of the 9 hour trip to the beach. Not bad at all.  The boys were exceptional and just couldn't wait to get to the beach!

This sweet girl FINALLY fell asleep.  We had to put some of Henry's pants on her because her legs were getting cold and she wouldn't keep a blanket on.  She slept for 45 minutes of the 9 hours ride.  OMG.
Florida!  We made it!

And you know I couldn't pass this thing up!

Amy's wedding!

The day we've all been waiting for!  Amy's wedding!  Catherine and Amy picked me up at 7am, we grabbed Michelle and then headed to pick up breakfast for all the ladies.  We made it to the salon at 8am and got right to it.  We all got our hair and make-up done and even added fake eyelashes!  I felt like I was going to claw my eyes out by the end of the day! :)  It was so much fun having the girly time with friends!  But, most of all...celebrating Amy and Daniel!!

Her hair looked soooo good!

I loved mine too!
Ready to head to the church with the bride!

This is the first time Neil and I have been in a wedding together.  We loved every minutes of it.

Getting ready to walk down the aisle.  Thanks to Nana for taking these.

Bob and Amy almost ready to walk down that aisle!

And done!  Here is Neil with Elizabeth, the bridesmaid he got to walk down.

Thankfully, Mom, Nana, and Granddad took care of the kids while we were in the wedding.

Reception time!
Father/Daughter dance
Henry loved the bubbles and the tambourines.
Cake cutting time.  The cake was DELISH.
My dreams of having a professional photo taken at the reception by the photographer vanished due to limited time and this is all we got. Cloudy, fuzzy, and blurry.

The cake!  OMG!  Every layer was a different flavor and each layer had a layer of cheesecake.  Yes.

Amy's Rehearsal Dinner

We had a great time rehearsing for Amy and Daniel's wedding.  Beau and Leigh came and picked up Bennett and Henry and kept them over night while we rehearsed and dined.  How sweet of them!  Mom had SK and all was right with the kids.  I love knowing they are all well taken care of.

We began the evening at St. Joseph's.  Catherine, Michelle, and I made bouquets for all the bridesmaids, mothers, flower girl, and Amy for the rehearsal out of all the ribbons and bows Amy received at her showers.  It was a great idea if I do say so myself.

The blushing bride!  So happy!

After we were rehearsed, we headed to Silver Star for a delicious meal, sentimental toasts, and lots of tears and laughs.  Amy are Daniel are so loved and it showed on Friday and Saturday night!
