Splash Day

Today was Bennett's end of year party for K-3.  It is bittersweet!  I cannot believe he is already finished with another year of pre-school.  Only 1 more year of pre-school and then he is off to kindergarten. ahhhh! I need to stop before I am sobbing right here while I type this.  wahhhhhh!

I was super excited that Gammy and Aunt Becky were able to go to the party.  Since I am giving finals there was no way I could sneak away.  Thankfully they were there to help Mrs. Rose get the kids ready for the fun.

Groundhog Day

Lately Neil and I have been feeling like our lives are that movie Groundhog Day.  We feel like all we do is wake up, get dressed, get kids dressed, go to work/school, come home, eat dinner, bathe, and bed...and then do it all over again the next day.  On Wednesday we decided to change it up and head to Sci-Port after work and school.  Neil met us there at 5 to see the sting-ray exhibit and to play in the Red River sand table.  We had fun touching the slimy sting-rays even though Bennett was a little scared to touch them.

We decided to head to dinner at Frank's.  We got there and they were closed for a private party.  We then decided on Outback...there was not 1 parking spot in the whole lot.  So, we went to Zocolo...same thing NOT 1 spot in the lot.  We finally settled on Subway.

We were excited that my BROTHER came in town for a quick visit.  He had a blast playing with the boys and eating at Carraba's.  We will get to spend lots of time with him in NYC in July!  I am excited to go to the Big Apple!

We love hitting up the free "build and grow" classes at Lowe's when they have them.  Bennett LOVES to build whatever they have.  We mentioned to a few people from t-ball that we were headed to Lowe's so they joined us!  John Rives and Perry were there too!
