Presents!

Sarah Kathryn got some many wonderful presents for her birthday this year!  Everyone was so generous!  I love that people give clothes to girls...it's the best!
Carol and Leslie were so sweet!  We love the stable!

Thanks Buteaus!

Donut Party

Our girl turned 2!  I can't even believe it!  She has been such a joy these 2 years and I just really can't imagine our lives without her.  So, we had a fun donut birthday party for our Sarah Kathryn!

I wanted something easy for her party.  She loves donuts and we just got a new Dunkin' so that's what we did!  People kept asking if we had to rent out the space...nope!  We just bought the donuts!  I am happy to report that this party was by far the most economical to date!  Neil..you proud?

I felt extra into this party theme because I found myself using lines like: "Neil, DONUT be late to the party!"  #genius

Front of the invitation...and then you opened it up to the details.

Loved it!
A big thanks to Leigh for taking pictures!!!

Happy 2nd birthday, Sarah Kathryn!

Our sweet girl is 2!  These 2 years have flown by so quickly!  We celebrated our girl for 3 straight days!

We took cupcakes to her school for a fun birthday celebration the day before her birthday. She was so proud to sit in the special chair and pass out cupcakes.

Sarah Kathryn!!  I love this girl so much!

We woke up on her birthday with birthday pancakes, cupcake pajamas, and sprinkles!

Sweet 2 year old!

presents!!!  The boys were so helpful!

Gammy came over to see her birthday girl!
We were happy to meet Leigh, Jake, and Carol for birthday lunch at Chick-fil-a.  Our girl felt so special!  Candle in the chicken nuggets.

I brought cupcakes to CFA.  They were all melty.

birthday lunch!
Thankfully Bennett's game was canceled so we got to go to dinner for our girl!  She loves pizza so Frank's was perfect!

We were thankful that Nana and Granddad were in town!
We ran by the Dicharry's on our way home to pick up SK's birthday gift since they had a few things to so during her party.  Erin gave her so many fun, summer things! And I looked up and Erin was giving her first manicure/pedicure!  I was shocked that she sat there for the whole thing!

Now she wants her toes painted every other day!

Methodist Children's Home Building Dedication

Neil's grandfather was a dedicated volunteer at the Louisiana Methodist Children's home in Ruston, LA.  They decided to name a building after him so we went over for the dedication.  What a nice tribute to his memory!  Neil and the rest of the family were so proud. I was, too!  We took Henry with us because there was no way we would have been able to get back to get him by 2pm.
Daniel, Henry, and Rebecca right before the dedication

Manners Tea Party

The manners tea party was just adorable.  The teachers taught the 1st graders manners, table setting, and how to be a good citizen and then finished off the unit with a manners tea party.  The whole first grade participated.  All the moms sent tea cups for their kids, decorated, and set up everything.  The kids got all dressed up in their best and even some girls wore pearls!  It was the cutest thing ever!

Seersucker bow-tie and bucks...southern gentleman!

Bennett escorted Riley

so sweet!

Escorting Riley to her seat

When they pushed the chairs in for the kids it was pretty hilarious.  It was almost like the boys were trying to slam them into their chairs.

Me with my sweet boy!

All of Mrs. Amato's rockstars!
