A ninja, a shark, and a little lamb (AKA Halloween 2015)

Halloween was on a Saturday this year and that is just about the best day it could be on.  We got to hang out all day and even fit in a flag football game that they rescheduled  for Halloween afternoon.  The game made us miss the Monster Bash, but Bennett would rather die than miss a football game!

We decided to carve pumpkins in the shop and of course, Neil broke out the power tools.  He can do anything! :)

Wolves howling at the moon..yes.
After the game we sped hoe, changed into our costumes and started walking.   The cul de sac behind us has a little block party so we went to that for a minute.  We had to go by Mr. Glenn and Mrs. Pat's and they had some very special goodies for the kids.  We were invited to a fun party at the Favrot's, too.  It was a great time in the neighborhood!
My sweet shark, my sweet lamb, and my sweet ninja

Sister walked all the way up to the house on her own!

We were glad that Gammy came to meet us!  It has always been our favorite holiday!

Jill made all kinds of carnival games in her garage.  So cute!

Boswell and Jones families...doing Halloween together since 1987.
Bennett got to see his school friend, Julian!  How fun!

I love costumes!  We had fun dressing up, too!

We ran by the Raines's after and they were having a dance party in the front yard,  Amelie, Jake, and SK giving big hugs!!

Corn Maze field trip

We had a great day at the Corn Maze with the entire 1st grade.  Our group consisted of 8 kids and 3 adults.  We had a fun group, too!

They loved the con bin.  They all made corn angels and even wanted to skip the hay ride to do this.

Fall carnival

Bennett's fall carnival was a blast!  They did a great job planning and executing it.  The kids wore costumes, ate, played, went to the book fair, got their hair done, and play some more.  Even SK and I  got her hair done at the Chemistry Hair Salon spooky hair booth!  What a fun time for all!

I love her!!

Pumpkin Shine 2015

Bennett's school always does a big display at the annual Pumpkin Shine.  We love this community event.  It is a great way for all of the schools to come together for something fun.  The 1st grade display for Bennett's school was fabulous!  They even won a ribbon!  His school got 2nd place for number of pumpkins.  What a fun afternoon.

Henry didn't have a display so he chose this one for his picture!

Bennett's was awesome!!  The 1st grade moms built a a pier out of a pallet, had a canoe, and even a backdrop.  Fancy.

He was proud of his turtle we made.

Pops met us!

Sarah Kathryn loved walking around and LOVED getting right next to the pumpkins.  She would turn around and say "cheese" so I'd know to hurry up and get her picture.  I've trained her well.

Happy Birthday, Boodle Bear!

We loved celebrating Rebecca's 32nd birthday in Monroe with brunch.  We ate, sang, and enjoyed a rainy ride home.  Fun day!
Happy 32!

Aunt B is the most fun suggesting the boys put whipped cream on their noses!

Witches Night Out

Erinn invited me to attend the annual Witches Night Out.  It is a bunch of moms all dressed up like witches walking down Line Avenue hopping from restaurant to restaurant.  It was fun!

I was really concerned about my make-up!  I was going for this fancy spider web look, but I think I ended up a blob of purple and black.  Don't worry...I left it as is!

Left: Inspiration  Right: mine!

The 6 of us decided to meet at W before the evening and it was a GREAT idea!  We had such a nice, quiet dinner dressed as witches.

We pulled up to the first stop on the tour as everyone was leaving.  We still decided to stay at the Steakhouse for our own 2nd stop.  Also, a great idea by us.  I had the selfie stick for this duck face photo!

Here we are at Superior grill!  Last stop was the Vintage...we stayed there for 5 minutes, smelled the smoke and hit the road!  I love how my big, fun, wild nights have me home and in bed at 10 pm!

Sarah Kathryn-18 months

Time has really just flown by...our baby girl is 18 months old!  Sarah Kathryn is just a sweet little thing.  She loves her babies and watching her brothers.  She started walking 1 week before she turned 18 months.  Go girl!

Height: 31 inches (25th percentile)
Weight: 25 pounds (75th percentile)
Head: 45.8 inches(35th percentile)

Big girl walking to lunch with Pops.  Pigtails too!

We took away her pacifier before she turned 18 months and it was OK.  She hasn't seemed to miss it.  I love seeing a baby with a pacifier, though
She hates pigtails.

She could watch Henry and Bennett 24/7...she thinks they are so much fun and so hilarious.  She does get bothered easily by Henry.  He really gets on her nerves.  He pesters her, but will then go up and give her a big hug and kiss.  Kids!
Still doing some crawling
She is a talkative little thing.  She must get that from me.  She has her own language and just mumbles jibberish like you know what she's talking about.  She does say Mama, Dada, Yaya (Gloria), Pops, baby, shoe, bow, makes a couple animal sounds, points, and signs "more" and "all done."
How big she is!!

She literally cried for the 30 minutes we waited to see the doctor.  It was totally awful.  She cries all the time for no reason.  I don't think she cried this much after her shot!  Diva.

Sister, we love you so much!  You are the sweetest girl ever!  You've made our truck-loving, rambunctious home a sweet, baby-loving, pink and purple filled one!  We love you to the moon and back sweetest girl!

She loves her babies!  She will push them in the stroller and even cover them up with the blanket.  She has her 'cheese face" down pat!  I love when she gets ready for a picture!

Sarah Kathryn LOVES to sing.  She loves "Row Row" the best.  She can also be heard singing Twinkle Twinkle, too!
