Days of our lives

Henry reading a monster truck book to Sarah Kathryn.

I had to pick up this angel from school because he felt bad.

He hasn't fallen asleep on my in ages...I loved it, but hated that he was sick!

Super Swinging!

Oh, Henry and his underwear antics...I've never seen so many wrong ways to put on undies!

Un"bee"lievable Grandparent's Day

It's no secret that we love our grandparent's around here.  They are literally the best.  They do so much for the kids and love them like we do.  They act like grandparent's by giving them special treats and privileges that we don't...which is, after all, what they are supposed to do!

Neil and I couldn't do half the things we get to do without them.  We just take 1 special day to honor them and to show them how special they are to us!  We did a "bee" theme and it was a cinch.  It was so easy because I used all of Jennifer's bee stuff from her daughter's 1st "bee" day!  Love borrowing.

We served "bee-bee que" and even wore bee antennae head bands.  We love you, Gammy, Nana, Granddad, and Pops!!  And Carolyn (CC), too!

Romantic!

Look how cute they are "beeing!"  (I can't stop)

Teddy Bear Picnic-Henry

We had such a great time at Henry's teddy bear picnic.  I am so glad that it was Henry's snack week so I could do something special!  Mrs. Rose told me they usually have honey sandwiches so I made teddy bear shaped honey sandwiches, teddy bear trail mix, and gummy bears!  They kids loved bringing their bears to the table and they LOVED the gummy bears.

I loved these little picnic bags...I ran them right through the printer.  I didn't even know it would work!

Sweet thang,

Henry and the only bear we could find.  I tossed all the others before we moved.

Such a cute little class!

Outdoor Movie Night

Before we moved into our new house I knew I wanted to have outdoor movie nights.  Thankfully, Jody has a 12 foot screen and projector so that we could have the movie night!  We are thinking about getting one, because it was just so much fun and we have the yard for it.  We even set it up to watch the Saints play and just for the boys to be able to watch a movie before bed.  Tons of fun was had by all 50 people that attended!!!

Last minute, I rented a popcorn machine.  I had to because people had changed their plans and decided to come.  We showed A Bug's Life and had bug themed pudding.  Easy Peasy.

I was literally shocked they the kids sat and watched the first 30 minutes of the movie!

Sister thought this was her bottle.

Caroline is such a gymnast!!

Sarah Kathryn is 5 months old!

Our beautiful girl is already 5 months old!  How on earth?  Time flies when you're having fun and even when you're exhausted!

Doctor appointment:  none this month

Clothes: You wear size 2 diapers and I have a feeling we are about to be in a 3.  You are wearing mostly 6-9 month clothes.  I got to put you in a couple long bubbles...they are my absolute favorite.  You just look so cute in anything, though.

Eating: You eat a 5 ounce bottle every three hours.  You are doing well on your new formula.  We will start food at 6 months. Dr. C said they are wanting people to wait until 6 months now...fine by me.  Baby food is not my favorite thing.

Sleeping:  No more swaddling.  In fact, after I wrote the 4 month post I stopped swaddling you.  Girl, you need to sleep!  You don't nap much AT ALL.  Lakasha said you might sleep 20 minutes a morning at school.  At home, you like to know what is going on all the time.  Last night was the first night I did not get up to feed you.  The past 2 nights I've fed you and you only took about 2 ounces.  So, you don't even need to eat!  You just get up.  I turned off the monitor last night and you were just fine and dandy this morning.  You sleep with both arms up above your head and always have.  That's how the boys sleep, too.

Likes: being held, car seat, riding in the car, riding in the stroller, eating, the paci (sometimes), baths, your brothers, watching people, smiling, knowing what is going on at all times, Mommy, being on y our stomach for a little bit, and laughing

Dislikes: having something go over your head (clothes), being strapped in the carseat, being woken up by a loud noise (brother), being disturbed/interrupted while eating has to be your most hated thing...you can't stand having the bottle removed while you are eating, and being on your stomach for more than a little bit.

News this month: You are busy!  You do not lie still at all.  You roll and move around on the floor and in the bed.  You are still our sweet baby girl that we love so much!!!

Bulldog Flag Football

We had an unusually cool morning for our first Bulldog Flag Football game.  It was such a delight.  We took Henry to his soccer shots and before we went to football we had to stop at the house to get pants and jackets!  We ended up staying outside the entire rest of the day.

Brother was such a good boy, he just played or sat in the chair and played on my phone,

Go team!

Sweetest girl and sweetest Daddy

We even have sweet t-shirts to wear to the games.  They say "fear the bite!"

Loves. the. Mouthpiece.

Oh, and here's my dad who walked across the field during the game. :(

Our second game wasn't near as pleasant.  Aunt Becky came and I was so glad she did!  We had to go all the way to North Desoto.  It was painfully hot.

Bennett was talking about how he was going to beat up the griffins and I said "no, we aren't going to beat them up." His coach said "Oh, sorry mom!...we told them that!"

Anyway, Bennett was doing such a great job blocking the probably 5th graders on the other team. One kid at least 5 inches taller than Bennett threw him on the ground because Bennett was such a fabulous blocker.  Mama Bear was not happy.  But, Bennett got right up and ran over to the kid and got in his face (in a football way)!  I was so proud!!!  He was running off the field and I was saying "GREAT JOB BENNETT, You did your job! yesss!  You did GREAT!"  I was that mom.

And do you know what he did?

He looked at me with a mad face and COVERED HIS EARS!!!!!  That stinker!
hahahahah!  I love my biggest boy!!

The main thing I want my kids to learn from sports is how to be a humble winner, to play fair, and to lose with dignity.  We are teaching these lessons all the time.  I just don't want anyone to mess with my babies.
