Henry's Shower at school

Mrs. White and Gina (the other 2 FCS teachers at school) threw a sweet baby shower for me in our food lab.  I was so excited when I received the invitation in my box!

Jason's wife made this adorable and yummy cake for me!  I love it!

Mrs. White made these really awesome sandwiches.  We couldn't get enough of them!

All of the shower guests were so nice to stay after school.

I love this cute "gator football" outfit that Molly and Corey G gave me.

Gina made these big bro/lil bro shirts for my boys!  A tie for Bennett and a little bow tie for Henry.  So cute!  I love a home ec teacher!

Mrs. White gave me these cute personalized burp cloths.  Love them!

more guests...so sweet of them to stay!

A lot of people at school signed this sweet card and donated to a Target gift card for Henry.  I was shocked at the generosity of my co-workers.  It was really sweet of them!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend.  I was so glad that we got to spend most of our time at home.  On Saturday, Neil got up bright and early and headed to help Beau with his patio.  They worked so hard.  I took Bennett over to their house so he could play with Drew while I went to CSHS graduation.  I just had to line up my group of students and then I got to leave.  It was a sweet job.  I hope they never move me off of that position!

Leigh was such a great babysitter.  She even fed lunch and let them color.  She sent me a couple pictures of the cuties.  She said that Bennett said "I color this for Mommy!"

We came home from the Raines' house and Bennett took a nice, long nap.  I always get so much done during Bennett's naps.  I made these cute sombrero cookies for the dinner party we went to.  The Hannas made a little taco bar and everyone brought something to contribute.

On Sunday, we headed to Nacogdoches to meet my side of the family.  We had a couple time changes so we all ended up getting there at random times.  We always have a ton of fun when we get together!  This meeting's theme was stripes.  We all wore stripes and looked so cute.  We even got to celebrate my mom's 55th birthday and my aunt's 56th birthday.  Fun!

me, Bennett, and CAL

Bennett loves CAL!

I bought the cake at Target.  The entire back of the cake melted off during the drive!

Happy Birthday Aunt and Mom!

We used the self-time to take a group shot.  It started to fall down during this one!

self-timer success!

I love my Auntie!!

Family photo...Bennett was thrilled!

The Montgomerys invited us to Eastridge for a fun Memorial Day celebration.  We were out there for 4 hours!  We had a lot of fun and I wasn't ready to leave when it was time to go!  Thanks for the invite Montgomerys!

28 weeks! (7 months)

7 months pregnant!  Already?  I love it!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 28 Weeks

Size of baby: 14.8 inches and 2.9 lbs (from i-pregnancy app)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 16 pounds (I go to the Dr. on Friday to find out my increase)

Maternity Clothes: Mostly all maternity...I still wear some regular shirts, because maternity ones make me look huge!

Gender: A beautiful boy! His name will be Henry William Lewis.

Movement: He is moving more and more every day.  I think I might have had Braxton-Hicks contractions a couple days ago.

Sleep: I sleep really well except for the bathroom breaks and tailbone pain.  I still feel very tired all day even when I've slept well at night.

What I miss: sleeping on my back

Cravings: Apple Jacks cereal (no milk) & fruit and yogurt parfaits, cold items (fruit and icees)

Symptoms: My tail bone pain has reached an all time high.  It was never this bad with Bennett.  If I have had a hard day, sometimes by whole pelvis hurts...hips, tail-bone, and pubic bone!  Painful!  At least I know it will be over when my beautiful boy arrives!

Best Moment this week: Realizing i am 7 months along...crazy how time flies!

Praise the LORD!

My dad received his follow-up PET results today!  We can shout a BIG FAT Praise the LORD for a cancer-free dad!  We are thrilled with this news.  Thank you so much for all of the prayers and support.  Now, I just need to get a remission party in the works!

Swim lessons

You might notice a couple things about these pictures from swim lessons...1) Bennett does not sit still and 2) He doesn't really want to kick, blow bubbles, or float! He really just likes to splash and run around picking up sticks, pine straw, and flotation devices. The other day I hid so that he couldn't see me and he did a great job! Today, however, he asked me "to not go home.". I couldn't resist that sweet boy. So I stayed out in plain view and he didn't mind or sit down! I kept telling him that I would have to leave if he didn't sit! I feel like Bennett just does whatever he wants no matter what we say. This troubles me because I don't want to have the kid that is always in trouble! I guess I need some help in the discipline area. He is just so darn cute when he is being mischievous!

Here he was so proud saying "I did it!" I was proud of him too!

This was when Bennett picked up pine straw and started putting it in Chandler's ear!

Mom of the year didn't have his bathing suit or towel. Thank goodness Casey had an extra swim diaper! I stopped at Dollar General on the way to get a towel!

Follow-up PET scan

Dad had his follow-up PET scan this morning. We got there bright and early at 6:45! I felt bad about just dropping him off and not staying. He seemed content to have Neil pick him up. It went very quickly and he was home by 10! We get the results on Wednesday morning at 8am. Please say a prayer for them to find NOTHING!!

Fun Surprise!

I got home from work on Friday to find this fun treat on my doorstep!  I know it must be from the person that drew my name from the SS girls night.  I get super excited about stuff like this!  I love surprises!  The best part is that this is a little reminder that there is someone praying for me.

Sensational Sunday!

We started off our Sunday with a nice, rush-free Sunday School.  Bennett stayed with Nana while Neil and I went to SS.  It was nice to get there on time without rushing.  I wonder how it will be with a new baby and a 2 year old?

After SS we met Dad, Carolyn, Nana, and Bennett at Another Broken Egg...my favorite!  I love the parfaits!

Here is my parfait!  I have become obsessed with these things!

We had a few friends over on Sunday night for grillin' and chillin.'  It was fun to see the kids play in little pools.  They always have a good time with each other.

Bennett was so good with Brown and Briggs!  He was like their little babysitter.
He kept bringing their bottles, playing with their feet, and gave them toys.  I hope this is
the type of big brother he will be!

We put a little pool at the bottom of the slide.  Way to go Maddie!

Sweet Drew

My little daredevil!

Sweet girls!!

We were excited that Nana stayed another night with us.  Bennett was LOVING having her here.
